The Coral Princess Hotel - San Juan

The hotel features a lovely tropical courtyard bursting with palms and orchids, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. Its proximity to the beach and local eateries makes it super convenient for grabbing a bite or soaking up the sun without a hassle.

The hotel definitely needs some maintenance. The television in the room is outdated, and it barely works. I struggled with hot water in the shower-turns out, there's a trick to get it working, but who wants to deal with that? Breakfast options were pretty uninspiring, offering just plain toast and filter coffee, which left much to be desired. The atmosphere felt a bit too 'hostel-like' for a proper vacation vibe.

Could have been charming, but for the age & type of furnishings.Also part of the rooms were used for storing spare barbecue items.

Lobby was not big enough to stand bags, while checking in or out.

The room wasnice and neat, with powerful A/C which we appreciated in the warm weather. We enjoyed the garden vibe of the hotel and the complimentary toast and coffee was a nice surprise! The TV setup was a bit complicated, which could be improved for better guest experience.

Had bites and itchy skin after sleeping; my sister killed what she thought was a flea. Bath tub plumbing backwards.

Friendly staff, helped me get around. Nice common areas like dining room, pool, foyers, etc. Good breakfast. Good location in nice neighbourhood, good restaurants nearby, bus stop to centre of city,10 minutes walk to Museo de Arte - amazing art there, don' t miss it.

It was a rather small room for the price, not that well appointed, but comfortable.

Conveniently located within walking distance to the beach and various restaurants, the hotel features a lovely tropical courtyard, perfect for relaxation. The staff is cute and eager to help. The rooms show signs of wear, with chipped tiles and thin walls that let in noise. The mattress quality could be improved, and hair dryers might not always be available during busy times.

The rooms were a nice size, we had a balcony looking over courtyard.

The hotel felt like a home away from home. Very cozy feeling during the morning breakfast.

I was not a fan of the steamer, I would have preferred an iron.

We explored amazing beaches and enjoyed local eateries. The rooms had a fridge and coffee was free in the morning. It's super convenient for kayaking nearby too!

One issue was that our room door looked a bit damaged, made us feel uneasy about safety.

It feels as if I was at home in my master bedroom with a spa in the roof.

I liked the clean, attractive rooms and public areas, especially the plantings in the courtyard. It is a lovely atmosphere to enjoy during breakfast.

It took me awhile to learn thatnthe best wi-fi reception was in the reading room, but it was a comfortable place to review my emails.

I loved the beautiful tropical courtyard filled with palms. It's super easy to walk to nearby attractions like La Placita de Santurce and the beach for a refreshing swim.

Big surprise! We booked this hotel online without much to go on. nice place. all the amenities of a big, expensive place but so boutique ... and affordable.

Good location, Old San Juan walkable (but takes about an hour - so only if you like walking, which we do!). Very pleasant courtyard full of palms, flowers, orchids, swimming pool (small). Large bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast included in price and coffee etc available all day. Pleasant and helpful staff. Lots of restaurants nearby.
